The
Naperville Sister Cities Foundation is a nonprofit committed to connecting
Naperville and its citizens to the world. The Sister City Program was initiated on a global
scale in 1956 as a creative force for international cooperation and goodwill
through community action. Naperville’s participation in the program
started in 1993 as the Naperville Sister Cities Commission, and the Naperville
Sister Cities Foundation was formed in 1999. The foundation sponsors
programs designed to foster inclusivity and diversity through cultural, education and business exchange between Naperville
and its sister cities.

First Responders are being honored this year 4th Annual Naperville Hispanic Fest

The award winners are as follows:
Naperville Fire: Firefighter/Paramedic Kirk Diaz
Kirk has distinguished himself as an outstanding firefighter and paramedic, demonstrating unwavering commitment to excellence in every aspect of his work.
Illinois State Trooper: Lieutenant Yavet Dominguez
Lt. Dominguez has been an Illinois State Police Officer for 21 years. During her tenure with the ISP, she has worked in patrol, internal investigations, protective services and now she is assigned to the ISP academy.
Naperville Police: Officer Noe Ortega
Officer Ortega has been a positive influence on not only his fellow officers, but several other members of the department. Part of being a leader is inspiring those around you and motivating them to challenge themselves.
Dupage County Sheriff: Lieutenant Eduardo Castillo
Lieutenant Eduardo Castillo of the DuPage County Sheriff's Office Community resource unit for all of his hard work and dedication within our community.
